Lead Abatement and Renovation Specialist
Job Type: 1099 Contractor -Full time
Location: Zanesville, OH
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a full-time Lead Abatement and Renovation Specialist to perform a wide range of duties across projects. This role involves reviewing scopes of work, setting up containment areas, and executing lead abatement procedures in compliance with OSHA/ODH and environmental regulations. Candidates must have strong communication skills and work closely with on-site supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. Responsibilities also include documenting work performed, safely disposing of hazardous materials, and contributing to a safe, efficient job site. Extensive construction experience (10 years preferred) is required, as this position touches nearly every trade across varying job types. Valid abatement certifications (Lead Abatement Worker or EPA RRP) are required to start, and training is available for the right candidate. Reliable transportation and a strong commitment to safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Review project documentation and scopes of work to identify areas requiring lead abatement.
• Collaborate closely with the on-site supervisor to ensure all work is completed accurately and on schedule. Strong communication skills are essential.
• Execute lead abatement procedures in compliance with OSHA and ODH regulations.
• Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to safely remove hazardous materials from buildings and structures.
• Prepare work areas by setting up containment barriers and ensuring proper ventilation.
• Dispose of hazardous materials according to environmental regulations and company policies.
• Document work performed, including before-and-after photos, for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required.
• Experience in lead abatement is preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and abatement protocols.
• Comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces to roofs.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety.
• Must have extensive construction experience (10 years preferred). This role involves a wide range of tasks, with no set limits on the type of work performed across various projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid certifications required (at least one of the following):
1. Lead Abatement Worker or Contractor
2. EPA RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) Don’t have certifications yet? We offer training opportunities for the right candidates.
Compensation & Benefits
• Starting Pay: $22-25/hour.
• Raise up to $30/hour upon obtaining lead abatement certification.
• Performance-based raises:
• $35/hour within 1-2 months for exceptional performance.
• Potential for management roles earning $40+/hour with continued outstanding
performance.
• Profit Sharing: Performance-based bonuses awarded per job, depending on quality, efficiency, and timely completion.

Skilled Construction Crew Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Crew Member to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves a wide range of construction tasks including all types of general renovation work. Candidates must be dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable using power tools and working in physically demanding environments. As part of our commitment to lead-safe practices, obtaining a lead abatement certification (training provided) will be required shortly after hire. You’ll work under the direction of experienced supervisors, contribute to job site operations, and have the opportunity to grow quickly within the company based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform construction tasks such as framing, plumbing, drywall work, painting, door installs, flooring, siding, roofing, etc.
• Participate in lead abatement projects after obtaining certification.
• Assist with material runs, job site clean-up, and problem-solving.
• Operate power tools (saws, air guns, drills, paint sprayers, etc.).
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with the on-site supervisor to ensure all work is completed accurately and on schedule. Strong communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have your own tools.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to operate power tools.
• Ability to perform various construction tasks.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be self-motivated and dependable with consistent attendance.
• Certification in lead abatement is required shortly after starting (training provided).
• Comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces to roofs.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety.
• Must have construction experience (5 years preferred). This role involves a wide range of tasks, with no set limits on the type of work performed across various projects.
• Valid certification required to start:
